WFSE Five Year Review and Evaluation

The Water Forum Agreement requires the Water Forum Successor Effort to conduct a comprehensive and “transparent” review and evaluation of progress at the end of the first five years of the Agreement.

In the spring of 2005 the Water Forum began this review process. Each stakeholder representative was asked to complete a survey. The coordinating committee and then the entire plenary also provided feedback during this process. During the review stakeholders were also asked for ideas and priorities for the future.

The progress report that is a result of this effort was designed to give the public a snapshot of what the Water Forum Successor Effort accomplishments have been in the five years since the signing of the Agreement, and how stakeholders view progress on implementation. It is organized around the seven elements of the Agreement and includes results of the stakeholder survey.
